Mrs. Miriam Holland Bourne, age 86, of McCaysville, GA, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2008 at Copper Basin Medical Center. Mrs. Bourne was born Saturday, September 3, 1921 in Fulton County, GA to the late William White and the late Mildred Steed White. She was a member of St. Marks Episcopal Church, and the Garden Club. Miriam enjoyed painting. She was preceded in death by her husband, Laverne Bourne; and brothers, Billy White and Robert White.
Survivors include: son, Jeff Bourne of the home; sister, Elizabeth Merseberger; two grandsons, Markus and Michael Bourne; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 31, 2008 at 1:00 PM from the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Mitilda E. G. Dunn officiating. Music will be provided by the family.
