Sammy Ensley - Program Director

Sammy Ensley (alias "Toothpick" [ sometimes with the definitive article 'The' ] or "The Big, Bad, Program Director" or "Big Ballin' G") has been with our network for what can only be described as an inordinate amount of time. Hailing from Blairsville, Sammy is a great asset (emphasis on the first syllable) to the company. He brings local and comedic flavour to our programming, which seem appropriate as he IS the Program Director.

As charming as he is versatile; the Toothpick anchors the greatest FM morning show in the Universe (as voted on by unsuspecting and suspect individuals) from 7:00 am to 10:00 am on 95.1 FM and is fully aware that most, if not all, morning FM radio programs begin their, uh, programs at 0600 (and some earlier) and rationalizes this truncated start thusly: "It's impossible to pack that much awesome into four hours.

The pubic just ain't ready for it. And you can quote me on that." Speaking of the Universe and the best radio programming It encompasses, "Big Ballin' G" also anchors the second-best radio show in the Milky Way; the Swap Shop (oft times prefixed as "Ye' Old") on the Wolf AM from 10:00am to 12:00pm where You (yes, YOU!) can sell your unwanted and/or unneeded items for cold, hard cash to listeners (and the occasional DJ) of who have the same mindset; that being, buying great items at a reasonable price. A storied history of Ye Old Swap Shop would take volumes to address and categorize, but one idea is paramount to its existence: you can save millions of dollars in just one sitting (or is that lose...?) Regardless, "The Big, Bad Program Director" would absolutely love for You to be a part of this 120 minute program of action packed "sellin' and a' tellin'". In addition, Sammy produces many of our specialty shows, like the weekend children's show, The Cub Club. [ note: the plural usage of the word "shows" should be downgraded to the singular ]

He also brings in his father, Sam Ensley, on the lucky occasion, to help with musicology, moral support, and the intermittent game of horseshoes in the parking lot. Sammy's hobbies include writing, playing (in every sense of the word), and recording music. He is very proud of his new son, Samuel, and his smoking hot wife, Dana. Of his great and grandiose musical accomplishments (of which there are hundreds of thousands), one thing is certain; out of all the radio personalities in the radio world - he is one of them.
