Wednesday Dawgs Update by Alan Hunt

If you weren't there on Saturday for Auburn, let me tell you that the blackout of the fans and the team was something to behold. I don't know if I've been there when the stadium was rocking like that in the 13 years I've been in the booth. Seeing the overhead shots of the black stadium was strange. The team is playing so well, it's hard to tell if the emotion or the confidence is beating the other teams into nothing.

So, we're on a roll again. Florida, Troy, Auburn. If we beat Kentucky, we are tied with Tennessee for the SEC East title. Tennessee has two more conference games, this week vs Vandy and then the following week at Kentucky. If they lose either of these games and UGA wins against Kentucky, we'll be looking at an extra game on December 1 in Atlanta, most likely against LSU. (I'm not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing...)
